Learn Guitar | The Best Way

What's best the best way to learn guitar for one person may not be the best for someone else. The different options are to try to teach yourself, hire a private instructor, learn from a book, an online guitar kit/guide or if you're lucky and have a friends who plays that can maybe teach you some lessons.

To learn from just a guitar lessons book is the old way to learn guitar. Unless you had rich parents back in the day learning from a book was the only way. But there was an addition of the CD or tape to help you hear what it sounds like which adds appeal. But it's still hard when you can't see what you're supposed to be doing.

Now DVD or video is probably the best way to learn guitar because you can hear what it's supposed to sound like and see what the instructor is doing and can rewind and practice a certain part over and over until you get it. Even for advanced players it's nice for learning the more advanced techniques

membership sites are a good way to go because they offer everything that these other things do not. You have a private instructor that shows you videos that you can rewind over and over and different playing styles. It's also cheaper than a private tutor and you don't have set schedule, you can go at your own pace instead of an hour once a week.

There are lots of online guitar lesson sites on the web and it can be confusing when deciding what's right for you.
